Participation in the International Conference “Meet, See, Do” 2024

The international museum conference “Meet, See, Do 2024” (Meet, See, Do 2024) organized by the Balkan Museum Network was held on April 18 and 19 in Tivat, Montenegro.

More than fifteen sessions, lectures, parallel workshops and presentations were focused on the main topic – Protection of cultural heritage in times of crisis. Also discussed were issues of cultural heritage in times of armed conflicts, natural and climate disasters, fight against illicit trade in cultural heritage; the role of the application of technological solutions such as AI and VR/AR in the protection of cultural heritage and many others.

The Museum of the Macedonian Struggle for Independence is a member of the Balkan Museum Network and was presented at the conference through the presentation of Maja Minoska Pavlovska on the topic “Anatomy of a Museum Guide”.

“Meet, See, Do” is organized by the Balkan Museum Network, with the support of the Headley Trust from UK and co-financed by the Horizon program of the European Union through the AURORA and SHIFT projects.
